Cebu Pacific Makes First Moments Happen In Cebu with Travel Leaders’ Night

From being a couch potato to becoming a traveler, I never regret the day I first said YES (15 years ago) to an invitation to travel to Manila over the weekend. I realized then that spending time away from your office desk could be a fulfilling thing to do. Taking a vacation leave, going somewhere unfamiliar and totally unplugging from the busy world, I’d never felt alive in my whole life.

There a lot of benefits in traveling and I can’t discount the fact that it is a necessity for some people, especially those who need to destress from work. Personally, among the perks of traveling, to travel overseas for free is one of the most coveted rewards I could ever possibly earn therefrom. Here’s how I get to make first moment happen abroad with Cebu Pacific’s Travel Leaders’ Night.

Truth be told, when I received the invitation to attend the Travel Leaders’ Night by Cebu Pacific, I thought it’s just another Christmas Party of some sort. However, when I saw the digital invitation card that looks like a Boarding Pass, I thought this event might be interesting.

Armed with no expectation or even any idea as to who else will be joining or what’s in store for us in the event, I graced the invitation with confidence.

True enough, the event didn’t disappoint. It was a indeed night filled with fun games and good company. The first ever Travel Leaders’ Night by Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ leading carrier, was graced by Cebu’s top bloggers, vloggers and social media influencers.

The fun-filled evening gathered jetsetters, travel influencers, and content creators to a game-night activity in Balay sa Busay, a homey-resto-with a millennial twist. Everyone was really competitive and was there to play the game hard and smart. Coincidentally, our group was assigned to Cebu, thus we name our team “CEBeautiful with a heart”.

The event highlighted Cebu as a buzzing hub for domestic and international travel. Miss Charo, Cebu Pacific Air’s Corporate Communications Head, shared to the group that Cebu Pacific was founded in Cebu in 1988, and commenced operations in March 1996.

Today, Cebu Pacific is the Philippines’ largest carrier, commanding over 50% of the domestic market. In Cebu—the largest Cebu Pacific hub in the Visayas, the carrier flies to a total of 27 domestic and international destinations directly to and from the Mactan Cebu International Airport. Domestic routes from Cebu include some of the world’s best islands like Siargao and Palawan; Davao and Clark—the gateway to Northern and Central Luzon; while international destinations include Hong Kong, Incheon, Narita, Singapore and Macau (starting December 7, 2018).

The event also highlighted Cebu Pacific’s #MakeFirstMomentsHappen Campaign which recognizes Cebu Pacific as an enabler for every Juan to reunite and celebrate occasions with loved ones through the airline’s low fares and wide network of destinations.

Cebu Pacific launched its #MakeFirstMomentsHappen campaign in September to inspire Filipinos to keep on creating and celebrating real-life moments with the airline. And that very night, who would have thought that my group mates will be making first moments happen in Korea as we just won a round-trip ticket to Incheon. Wohooo!

I really couldn’t hide my excitement! Watch out for our Korea experience this Q1 2019.
