Budget-Friendly Bar Hopping In Lakawon Island

If you’re eyeing multi-bar hopping adventure on a tight budget, then head to Lakawon Island!

A quick sojourn to this beautiful paradise off the coast of Cadiz in the northern most part of Negros Occidental can make your trip a memorable one. Emerging with picturesque attractions, tranquil ambiance and innovative experience, it’s time to put this unassuming island in your radar!

Do you know that you can actually do multi-bar hopping in Lakawon Island? Check them out!

Floating Bar

Lakawon Island’s newest attraction is the Tawhai Floating Bar which is dubbed as “the largest floating bar in Asia”. For a minimal fee, you can chill at the floating bar with one consumable beverage of your choice. What a unique experience, don’t you think?

You can drink by the sea then float away like you’re on a pleasure voyage.

Or jump over board into the clear blue waters ala booze cruise.

Sand Bar

If you roam around the island, there is actually a visible sand bar in the western portion during low tide. A huge stretch of white fine sand surrounded by pristine waters will delight visitors for as far as the eye can see.

This strip of sand bar is said to rival that of Kalanggaman Island in Leyte. Who knows? For all we know, it is the next travel destination in PH.

Beach Bar/Huts

There are a lot of them dispersed around the beach front. Each one guarantees a shade that guard you from the searing heat of the sun while enjoying the panoramic view of the instagrammable boardwalk and the off-shore Tawhai Floating Bar.

Sunset Bar

Scenic sunset view while superb cuisine is served at the island’s sunset bar. The breezy and gastronomical bar offers a perfect spot to watch the sunset with your loved ones while sipping on a frosty beer or cool piña colada.
