Every business knows that a tangible workplace environment contributes to the performance and overall wellbeing of employees and its stakeholders. As for a professional (IA Head) and a digital creative (blogger) like me, my ideal work environment constitutes a comfortable setting and at the same time conducive for productivity – a venue wherein I can interact with my colleagues effectively or focus on working on a task (i.e., blog) on my own.Both times, I encounter some challenges and yes, the struggles are real. In the office, the huddle rooms are on appointment basis, which means if all rooms are booked by other users, then compromise arises whether to postpone your meeting or proceed without a proper venue. On being a blogger, I also had a hard time finding a place wherein I can privately write an article with fast internet connection, on a sturdy desk and without much distraction from the environment.

With such problem on the rise, good thing there’s an immediate solution – coworking space by The Company. The concept of coworking space is not new in Cebu but it has not been given much attention before by most organizations as the effect created by the unavailability of working space did not burst then. The Company
Founded in Fukuoka, Japan last 2016, The Company was established as a multilocation co-working space by a productions company called Zero-Ten Co., Ltd. Having worked with multiple project based teams, The Company’s CEO and President Jiro Enomoto saw the value in gathering individuals and businesses from different fields, cultures and workstyles to work and link together in a collaboration-friendly environment; thus the tagline of The Company: ‘Work. Link.’

The Company aims to raise the bar of a standard workplace – activity-based, flexible, conducive for collaboration and creativity – a place to be productive and expand network for all its members.
