Globe Offers Free WiFi for Cebuanos
GoWiFi has been continuously expanding its services to provide customers with better WiFi experience anytime and anywhere. As part of its initiative to improve connectivity and communication services in the country, GoWiFi provides free internet connections in certain locations in Cebu.
Hospitals including Cebu City Medical Center, Cebu Community Hospital, Cebu Doctors Hospital, and Chong Hua Hospital Mandaue are now powered with GoWiFi as well as supermarkets like Shopwise Cebu Basak and Shopwise Express Cebu Basak. Travellers and commuters can also enjoy free internet connection at Mactan-Cebu International Airport and Bogo Bus Terminal.
GoWiFi is the largest WiFi service in the country available in over 2,700 sites nationwide. Users can expect a connection with high speeds of up to 100Mbps, depending on the location.
GoWiFi services are available in regular (free) GoWiFi and premium (paid) GoWiFi Auto, both available to all users with any WiFi-enabled device regardless of network service provider and even international numbers. To connect to Free GoWiFi, just open the Wi-Fi-enabled device’s WiFi settings, connect to the SSID “@FreeGoWiFi” or “@<site>_FreeGoWiFi,” register and wait for the SMS verification code, then select a WiFi offer, confirm and start surfing.
