It’s the last quarter of a rough year and everybody’s striving to navigate life in the new normal by adapting to strict health and sanitary measures every single day, among other protocols. While some employees are already reporting back in their offices and online classes have started for students at home, almost everJuan probably misses traveling. While leisure travel for domestic destinations are gradually being allowed in some areas in the Philippines, however, international travel for tourism is still prohibited in most countries as of writing.

Well, don’t fret as we’ve already seen a good sign that international travel for tourism is possible in the near future. Let’s take for example, Japan. The Japanese government has released its plan for reopening of tourism in April 2021, prior to the postponed Olympics scheduled on July 23rd. What better way to prepare for it than booking cheap flights today!

Book Your Flights Using Travel Fund

Travel Fund is a virtual wallet used to store the total amount you’ve paid for in an existing booking. This can be used as a form of payment for booking a new flight and purchasing add-ons in the future.

Travel Fund is usually offered for cancelled flights or for flights with schedule changes of more than 60 minutes. Given the current situation and in consideration of countrywide measures in place to control the spread of COVID-19, Cebu Pacific is offering a Travel Fund option, even if the flight is not cancelled nor changed.

If you have already an existing travel fund in your GetGo account, you may use it to pay for your flight booking. For more info on eligibility and how to use your travel fund, please check out step-by-step guide here: Travel Fund

Budget Travel Guide

JAPAN TRAVEL GUIDE: Japan has a reputation for being pretty expensive, but it doesn’t have to be. After seven (7) months of meticulous planning (from the moment I successfully booked a cheap flight to Japan during a seat sale by Cebu Pacific Air), making first moments in Japan finally happened.

As a first-timer myself, I really wanted to visit as many places in Japan and experience what each prefecture has to offer in just a little time. Majority suggested to concentrate in one place per trip, while others recommended to do some side trips to two or three prefectures. As every travel is subjective, I decided to experiment and do a one-time, big-time travel this year by visiting 10 prefectures in 1 week for only Php 10,000 pocket money. SOUTH KOREA TRAVEL GUIDE: Traveling to another country can sometimes be stressful, especially when you don’t have any idea what to expect in such place. As a first timer myself, I’ve been doing some research on how to maximize my first international trip last 2019 but I haven’t really found one that contains all the basic info I needed.

Challenged, it prompted me to brave the unknown, literally make first moments happen and blog about my South Korea experience to help other people who are also looking for answers, travel tips and what nots. Thus, this travel guide: 4D3N South Korea Travel Guide For First Timers
