Divine View Resto Cafe: Delightful Hilltop Bistro in Consolacion

I consider Consolacion as my second home. In fact, I’ve spent my last 5 years in Consolacion leading me to gain relevant insights about the municipality’s happenings, latest trend and what’s new around the area. Speaking of what’s currently popular online, there’s a new hilltop bistro in town just next to the barangay I’m staying but I couldn’t find the right timing to visit the place. Pending actual visit, I added Divine View Resto Cafe to my bucketlist.

Here comes Easter Sunday (Happy Easter!). While almost everyone celebrated the long holiday at their favorite beach destinations, me and family in Cebu decided not to travel far and just explore the neighborhood. We started the awesome day by attending a 10AM mass in San Isidro Labrador Parish, and continued to have our lunch at Divine View Resto Cafe, just few kilometers from the church.

The path leading to the small mountainside restaurant is kinda offroad since there’s an on-going road widening as of writing but it is still manageable. As you drive along the ascending and winding road of the hillside barangay towards Garing Tops, you’ll know you are already in Divine View Resto Cafe when you see a mini three-tier structure with furniture and fixtures all over the premises. You’ll also notice a wide carpark on the lower ground that’s available for all types of vehicles.

The newest cliffside coffee shop and eatery in Consolacion promises a delightful gastronomic indulgence. Strategically perched on top of a lush highland of Garing, Consolacion, Divine View Resto Cafe boasts an alfresco dining set up that guarantees nothing short of panoramic scenery.

Imagine enjoying a meal or grabbing a drink with good company in an atmosphere consisting of cool air, twinkle lights (at night), and light chatter, it would definitely be a stellar outdoor dining experience!

Divine View Resto Cafe offers various classic Filipino and Italain cuisine with a distinctive taste that you’ll surely love. You can order breakfast, lunch, dinner or even snacks like divine burgers and pastries. Fruit shakes, hot coffee and non-coffee frappes are also available at very reasonable prices. Refer to the photo above for the menu.

There are available table and seats at the ground floor and veranda ranging from a pungko-pungko type to long dining table set. There is also the rooftop that offers additional space to cater more diners. It’s more windy up there, I tell you.

Anywhere you choose to sit, each dining spot offers one of the divine views of the city, both day and night. Enjoy the sumptuous food with an unobstructed view of the metro while enjoying the company of your loved ones. It’s an experience of itself!

Since it’s Easter Sunday, Divine View Resto Cafe is having its Easter Egg Hunting event wherein both kid and adult can participate. There are 100 colorful eggs hidden around the area and everyone can look for one and exchange it with a special treat.

Overall, I really had a great dining experience at Divine View Resto Cafe. I totally recommend the delightful hilltop bistro’s delectable and affordable food, lit ambiance, and friendly staff! It’s totally one for the books!
