Philippine Airlines Booking Change Option: Travel Voucher Request through myPAL Request Hub
Going home to my hometown Dipolog City over the holidays is a yearly thing of mine. I pre-booked a round-trip flight from Cebu to Dipolog via Philippine Airlines few months ago for travel period December 23, 2020 to January 3, 2021. Just like almost all of my flights this year, I had to cancel my Dipolog flight (though still on schedule) because I can’t afford to be quarantined in a hotel for 14 days upon arriving at the point of destination, especially when it means you’ll still miss spending Christmas or New Year with your family at your home.
Faced with a dilemma of the available options for voluntary booking changes and the process of the chosen option, I based my decision of whether or not I will be pushing through with the same route in the future. My answer is clearly a resounding NO due to the unpredictability of the situation so personally, it’s best to choose the travel voucher option.
For voluntary changes, the travel voucher will be equivalent to the unused net value and unused taxes of your ticket. The unused net value refers to the unused base fare net of commission or other charges/fees. Your converted travel voucher is non-transferrable and valid for one year and can be used to purchase new PAL tickets or PAL Travel Extra/s.

2. Fill up the online form
3. Proceed with the first requirement
4. Continue with the Passenger Name and Ticket number and Email address
5. Select your booking change option
6. Read the Disclaimer and click Submit
7. Read and click Next if you agree with the terms & conditions
8. Finally, you are done in submitting your Travel Fund request
9. Receive email notification regarding your Travel Voucher request
10. Your Travel Voucher details will be sent to your email in the next business day
